Dyson Tower Fan, Silver/Silver, AM02

I could not choose between Dyson Pedestal Fan and Tower fan, so I went ahead and bought both to compare. Yes, we were both so good.

The Tower Fan is great for the living room or family room as there will be more compact (small and low profile) and diffuses the air is less concentrated in one area. (High and Low) There are no adjustments that can be done in this fan, say no tilt or take the drive up and down. What you see is what you get.

Pedestal fan is good for our bedroom, we have a really high bed. At the highest point on the pedestal fan is still not where we stood. As the fan is more like an ordinary oscillating fan, air more concentrated in one area, so in the evening, we went through it on medium to low and let it keep us cool at night. Pedestal fan can be adjusted in height by simply sliding down or pull up to the fact the circle part of the fan. (The frame tube expands or collapses - very convenient and quick to do) is also a fan of this tilt. (Circle the most part should be where you want it) This fan is a bit stronger need more space so the tower fan. (Because of adjustments and diameter circle or in part in connection with oscillating)

In both models, the high setting, a lot of air at a higher noise. We joke about it and say that the jet takes off, the fan does not lean back slightly when we turn the stop. Setting up both fans are fast and very easy

The remote is very handy and awesome. To save the remote, it is a magnet in the fan and remote control, so just put the remote in the fan and it sticks

All in all, great fans, if you can get over the price of a $ 450 fan, you'll be happy about it. They have a 2 year warranty with the Dyson, so it's nice. Our fans always pause after a summer, and these fans have been going strong for 1 year now, still no problems.

Both fans have the same amount of air coming through them at high settings, so there is no difference in efficacy between the two models.
